Safe zones, not just a tall image
On a 1080 by 1920 frame TikTok covers roughly 150 pixels at the top, 440 at the bottom and 140 on the right, where the like, comment and share buttons sit. On every 9:16 ad AdHalo tells the image model to keep the headline, price, button and logo out of those edges. Ads laid out by AdHalo's own composer are placed inside the safe area exactly.
Check it before you spend
Text the image model draws usually lands inside the safe area, but not always to the pixel. Open any 9:16 ad at full size and switch on the TikTok preview to see the margins drawn over it. If something sits where a button will be, generate another version rather than guessing.
A download formatted for TikTok
Select ads in your library and choose Download for TikTok. You get the image files plus a sheet to copy from while you upload: ad text trimmed to TikTok's 100-character limit at a word boundary, emoji removed because TikTok rejects them in some regions, and a call to action taken from TikTok's own button list. Shop now is the default, and because there is no Buy now button on TikTok, buying maps to Order now.
Image ads first, video when you need it
The free trial includes 6 image ads, so you can test a product and an offer before paying. Starter is $19 a month for 100 image ads. Video is separate: Pro ($59 a month) and Studio ($99 a month) include presenter video ads of up to 12 seconds, which you can also download and upload to TikTok yourself.
Common questions
Does AdHalo post to TikTok Ads Manager?
No. You download the files and upload them yourself. A direct connection would need an app approval from TikTok, which AdHalo does not have.
Is the safe area guaranteed?
Where the image model draws the text, the safe area is an instruction to the model rather than an exact placement, which is why the preview exists. Check it on each ad before you use it.
