New: TikTok-Safe Ads, a TikTok Preview and a TikTok Download

On TikTok the bottom of the screen belongs to the caption and the right edge to the buttons. An ad that puts its price there has hidden the one line that mattered. AdHalo's story-format ads now keep that space clear, and show you they did.

Text stays out of TikTok's way

TikTok covers the edges of a 9:16 ad: on a 1080×1920 frame, roughly 150 pixels at the top, 440 at the bottom and 140 on the right, where the like, comment and share buttons sit. On every 9:16 ad, AdHalo tells the image model to keep the headline, price, button and logo out of those edges, and ads laid out by AdHalo's own composer are placed inside the safe area exactly.

Text the image model draws usually lands inside the safe area, but not always to the pixel. So open any 9:16 ad large and switch on the TikTok preview to see the margins drawn over it before you spend anything on it.

Download for TikTok

Select ads in your library and choose Download for TikTok. You get the files TikTok can run plus a sheet to copy from while uploading: ad text trimmed to TikTok's 100-character limit at a word boundary, emoji removed (TikTok rejects them in some regions), and a call to action from TikTok's own button list. Shop now is the default; there is no Buy now on TikTok, so buying maps to Order now.

What it does not do

Where the image model draws the text, the safe area is an instruction to the model rather than an exact placement, so check the TikTok preview. AdHalo also does not post to TikTok Ads Manager for you yet; that needs an app approval from TikTok.
